1. Again, a new year. 2010. And like last year and the year before that, i celebrate New year in my hostel room in UMS, watching TV. I do want to celebrate New Year but we are bound to in resident rules. We can't go out after 11 pm. we can go out and break the rules but i'm not in the mood to celebrate it this year i guess.
2. yet i am happy because i am not alone this year. At least i have someone and people around me to go into the new year.
3. This year, everyone is having their own resolution. Everyone is hoping for a better year. Me? My resolution 5 years ago still not accomplish until today. So my resolution it to finish my previous resolution.
4. Hoping that something amazing will happen in 2010. Something that benefits me. haha.
And... a happy ~ new year!!!!

Food Entry Encore: Kak Nong Restaurant
1. Many people did not really highlight this one restaurant i don't know why. Maybe people prepare imported restaurant like KFC, old town, Manhattan, New york and a lot more restaurant from the west. ( Note: Manhattan is inspired by the west but not from there...haha).
2. So what is so special about this restaurant. My personal view, this restaurant is nostalgic. I've been eating in this place since i was small. Years ago. Maybe more than 10 years ago. Then it disappear. And for that period of time, i did not taste or even aware of it. But suddenly in year 2009, suddenly i felt like eating it and i search for it and i found it. Still in the same place in Beverly Hills area KK. Easy to find, and the food still similar even though maybe..it is not the same.
2. So what is so special about this restaurant. My personal view, this restaurant is nostalgic. I've been eating in this place since i was small. Years ago. Maybe more than 10 years ago. Then it disappear. And for that period of time, i did not taste or even aware of it. But suddenly in year 2009, suddenly i felt like eating it and i search for it and i found it. Still in the same place in Beverly Hills area KK. Easy to find, and the food still similar even though maybe..it is not the same.
This is classic for this restaurant. A dish called Soto Gulai Ikan Kak nong. I gave 5/5 for this dish. So delicious if you like something like Laksa, soto...etc. This meal consist of fish meat, with noodles and the soup is consist of coconut milk, chillies i guess, some other thing but i can assure you that there is nothing like this dish. I can eat 2 bowls if i have money. One bowl cost rm7 but you will be satisfied with it. Dun worry to spend money for a good food.

And this is totally new. 10 years ago Kak nong does not sell dessert as such. This is modern dessert but i found it hard to find anywhere else around Kota Kinabalu. There are many variety of dessert but i like this one. This is Peach plus sweetened seaweed with ice at the bottom. The ice was pour with creamy milk and sugar. This is damn nice.
Ok. That's it for now. Kak Restaurant is easy to find here in KK provided you have your own car. Just drive to beverly hills area and when you see a shop lot where milimewah is located, Kak nong is around that place. I did not know the exact addres for that restaurant and i am not paid by that restaurant to advertise. So i won't say it. haha.
I am just sharing a place for good food because good food is a source of happiness.

2009 music faded.
I guess 2009 is not a year of good music. Nothing interesting in music this year. From the west to the east, no good song are produced. Every music award this year seem to be boring. I guess beyoonce Halo which win a lot of award this year does not really attract me like Rihanna did with Umbrella.
Hmm..what music i hear this year? earlier this year i enjoy taylor swift pop rock song but it seem that every song she had is kind of in the same tune. Enjoy but lack of variety. Just a song.
Lady gaga is somehow attract me initially. She really got some trendy song which is different and updated. Its more like new generation type of song. Salute her but i did not like much on her image which is day by day becoming more over and abusive. huhu. And her new single can't attract me at all this day. I guess lady gaga is last year right? Is it?
I'm a big fan of Eminem, but his album Relapse does not suprise me or suprise me in a not very positive perspective. It seem like the album lack of story. I have to admit that even though the production of the album, the arrangement and the beat are quite tight but it is still failed to make me listen to it repeatedly like i did for every album before this. I guess maybe because The Marshall Mathers LP is too good making people expect more than this.
In Malaysia, as usual, except Malique album, other artist failed to attract me. Why? I don't know why. Yuna? She attract me initially, but as usual, you can't expect people to hear the same song repeatedly for 1 year. We need some new and good music.
Hujan...nothing new and interesting... other artist? i guess i am not really into Malaysian music.
Asian? Oh my god.... i am too naive on this. I did not listen to music a lot i guess this year.
But i believed that if i heard a song, and suddenly the song attract me a lot until i want to hear it again, that is good music. but if i still thinking like this...on which one is good music...meaning that there is no good music at all this year. haha. I'm sensitive but not spesific.

End of year movie review.
1. Its christmas morning and i am listening to some good hip hop music in my laptop. Well, i guess there is no celebration for me this year. This is my first christmas without celebration. Every year, 25 december is a celebration for me. Its not mainly about christmas but its my parent anniversary. So usually we will go out and have a good dinner on 25 dec. Barbeque or eat some exclusive food outside. However, this year, no celebration since i am not going back. Staying in Hostel doing nothing.
2. Not only because i am not going back, but i also have a lot of work to settle and lot of knowledge to remember. Exam is just around the corner. I need to finish my second case report, finish my slide for presentation to our big boss professor next week, and need to study for the exam. What an unpleasant weekend, again.
3. The only good thing is my sister is coming today and i am going to watch Avatar, again, with her this afternoon. I think avatar deserves a second time since i am fed up with lot of hollywood movie this year. What a heck year for movie.
4. This is some movie that i watched this year and my short comment on em.
12 rounds - Bad ass.. To0 much defect in the story line. Too much defect on camera angle. Too many mistake..
inkheart I watched this movie this year or last year? i forgot. Well, give me my ticket money back!
underworld 3 - Destroy the 2 good sequel of underworld. Vampire fighting with a sword? What? Boring.
taken Simple movie. yah yah. Yah. Just action. Still, i love it because the punch is ..ummph.
chocolate Watchout jet li, jackie chan, bruce lee, anyone. This movie make this three star look like beginners.
push Another version of heroes. Good storyline. ok. Worth to watch.
the international - Start end. Eh..finish already? i could not remember watching a plot.
Watchmen - classic yet fresh. Different.
race to witch mountain IF we replace 'The rock' with somone else like maybe leonardo d caprio, brad bit or maybe that hero from twilight then i would not watch it. watch it just because of 'the rock', he is funny.
Knowing Love this one. Compare to 2012 where human can avoid end of day, this one really end of day. Its a combination of sci-fi and spiritual movie. The CGi also quite remarkable.
monster vs aliens - Kuching memories. This movie i watched in Kuching. hehe. Funny movie.
Dragon ball FUCK! BANNED THIS MOVIE FROM THIS WORLD. DELETE IT!
17 again Funny one. Worth to watch. I like it.
Wolverine - one hero..and one hero only. not enough to attract me. Not enough to entertain me.
Angel and Demons - anticipated movie. turn out to be, not so great as the book version. Da vinci was lot better than this.
Night at museum 2 - Ok. Classic. Watchable. laughable.
Up - this is one particular movie that i don't know why but it did touch me and caught my attention. Its just a simple movie. But there is something inside this story which can make us laugh, think, cry and smile in the end.
Land of the lost - haha. I dunno what is this movie all about. just enter the earth, run run. Typical.
The taking of pelham 123 - True story always nice. But this one it to true to be good. Not worth it.
Year one - Bla bla. Stupid movie.
Transformer 2 - big movie. big movie. deserve a second watch. But, not reaching the level of my expectation. Too much in CGi and they forgot to write the story nicely.
Ice Age 3 - Why do people like this stuff? Not funny. not cute. Not anything. I would gave a big applause to Ice Age 1 but the third one, deserve nothing.
Harry Potter and the half blood prince - 'erectile dysfucntion'. When it reach climax, it end. Not good. Should seek 'treatment'. Even though it was the no.1 high grossing movie this year, but people go watch it because they were cheated and tricked that this one is good as the previous one. No! Rugi.
The ugly truth - Hahaha.. this one is somehow, too funny. But not for children.
Aliens in the attic - Is this Malaysia movie? Sarcastic. Not to say Malaysia movie not good.
Gi Joe - Please... i don't want to watch this kind of movie again. If there is GI Joe 2. I would not bother to watch.
District 9 - Wow. Fresh stuff. Creative. caught my attention.
The time Traveler's wife - yeah. This is nice story. Like back to the future.
Inglorius basterds - Bastard! Give me my money back. Nothing good about this one.
Final Destination 4 - the same old stuff. Make until final destination 10, still the same. boring.
Gamers - ITS BORING!!!!
Jennifer's body - whahaha.. funny not because the movie to funny. It is just funny when someone doing it all wrong.
Cloudy with a chance of meatball - make me hungry
The surrogates - I want a surrogates. Not bad.
Ong Bak 2 - too bad. Go and retired tony ja. Or learn from others.
Papadom - three thumbs up. From all above hollywood movie, this one win. Best giler.
Pisau Cukur - okay.......one thumbs up only for the girls. For other thing, middle finger up.
Disney's A Christmas carol - What is the matter with this movie? Can you just make it for free?
2012 - another big movie... lame. Not nice. Too much illogical thing. And human can survive end of world? making ship in China? Neutrino boiling earth core? Did you just made a movie about world got froze few years ago? Boring movie. but watchable because of the nice computer graphic.
Twilight New Moon - another erectile dysfunction movie. If you are a girl or gay man want to watch male porn. this could be worth for you.
Ninja - Anal intercourse! Give me my ticket money back and pay me compensation for my time of waste.
Ninja Assassin - another one. can someone please make a real ninja story? Did they really know about ninja? Did they do homework? too much mistake in this movie. defect everywhere. The story is jumble up. But the actor is quite good for a starter. The movie will not go anywhere but the actor mr.rain will.
The princess and the frog - Classic and nice for children only.
Avatar - as for now. This is one good movie for this year i guess. Watching it make you feel like you are watching The Matrix 11 years ago i guess. Combination of The Matrix, The lost world jurasic park, surrogates, star wars....
Next is Sherlock holmes and alvin and the chipmunks 2. Whutttt?

Halal Ba Kut Teh
1. Lot of thing disturbing my mind within this past few days. I can't write anything here because of it. So mayny thing dissapointed me.
2. The first thing that disappoint me is regarding Halal Bak Kut Teh. I was really impressed that Malaysia now is taking step to start (start) unify all its citizen from different race. Food are included. As people know, food is the reflection of unity. Malaysia is unique because diversity of food from different races can be found here from Malay, chinese, Indian, Dusun, Serani, Iban, kadazan, penan, murut...etc. So many. So diverse. A lot of variety. And when i heard regarding 1fabalous food malaysia (or something), i was more impressed. Do you realize that even there is a lot of variety in Malaysian Food, actually all the races in Malaysia did not enjoy each other cuisine. Malay will restrict themselves to Malay food, chinese to chinese, indian to indian..etc. But with this new steps, a new beginning can occur where other can start to enjoyu each other food.
3. Do you realize that a Malay Muslim is the only race that are too insecure to taste others food. They would always think of a hundred reason on why they should not taste others food. Not to blame them, because they need to eat only halal food. This is compulsory.
4. A step of making a halal version of Bak kut teh was a brilliant idea. It can show how everything can be modified to accomodate one's taste and need. It was brilliant. Every chinese food should have its own halal version for Malay Muslim to taste it. So that we can all share ours with yours.
5. However, some 'over brilliant' Malay are too brilliant to deny this. Claiming that making Bak kut teh halal would make Muslim confuse and they would eat pork because of this confusion.
So lame and stupid. I was laughing hearing this fact. Why did a muslim became confuse? Just because making a halal version would not make us eat pork suddenly. We are not that stupid. I feel like that person who proudly speak of this matter was insulting me. Insulting all the Malay muslim.
6. If a pizza was cook with pork in italy, they make chicken version here in malaysia, are we confuse of the its status now whether it is halal or not? If someone cook kueh teow with lard in Taiwan or somewhere, then there is kueh teow in Malaysia cooked in palm oil, are we confused about it status now?
7. And Bak kut teh does not mean pork at all. Even though someone drastically create a halal pork, do we muslim rush to supermarket and buy pork just because a halal pork was created?
NOOO.
Does not matter what kind of food we ate, we (muslim), are clever enough to know that the food is halal or not. Even though it is bak kut teh, written halal, we would check it at least to see whether there is pork or not inside. We are not confused. And by having a halal version of bak kut teh, it was a good thing.
8. Sometimes i feel people especially politicians, and now even one who work in Jakim are thinking with their knee. I don't mind if they want to change the name or whatever, but stating that halal status would not be given to halal bak kut teh is too racist and show how extreme you are denying other races.
I guess it is true in what i have said in my previous post saying that today people are not classifying Halal because of its content but because it was prepared by non muslim, and now worse, because the name is not halal. Name! Haram by name!

Drop the world/bomb
1. Leaked. The song drop the world from Lil wayne new album leaked and i downloaded it. I am not supporting piracy but as you know, everyone is hearing it and why should i not? Should i wait for official release next year? No. This is the problem, if a song is leaked, everyone have their right to hear it. And 10% of this downloader will actually pay for the real album later, and 90% will not bother to buy the original album. Which one are you?
2. This new song called Drop the world is so energetic and guess what, i like it. I guess Eminem and lil Wayne should make more song together. The lyrics is hard and the music is somehow catchy to hear and fresh. I hope that Eminem next album will be as strong as this one.
3. People are fighting for music industry after internet was born and more and more album are leaked in the net. It is like you can't hide anything now from the world with internet.
4. We can see sudden changes in music industry as you all aware that by the year 1990-2000, most artist in US or wherever in this world would sell their album more than a million copies and look how Eminem Marshall Mathers LP broke the fastest selling records in the first week. Today, even singer much better than Eminem would not sold more than a million copies of their album. why? Because why bother buying RM30 CD if you can download it for free.
5. I guess the only way to stop this thing is they (music industry) need to turn into internet themselves rather than fighting piracy by asking people to buy original CD. What if you sell a song in internet for less than a dollar per song with easy to use payment. I guess, everyone would go and buy it. The problem right now is, an album in internet would cost the same price as a normal CD, sometime only 1-2 dollar cheaper. Plus, the payment..need credit card, everything. Why don't we have an easy internet payment for a song, a universal one. Charge it in internet bill, or easy to get music prepaid card. By this, i guess 70% of people would go and buy original song.

2. This new song called Drop the world is so energetic and guess what, i like it. I guess Eminem and lil Wayne should make more song together. The lyrics is hard and the music is somehow catchy to hear and fresh. I hope that Eminem next album will be as strong as this one.
3. People are fighting for music industry after internet was born and more and more album are leaked in the net. It is like you can't hide anything now from the world with internet.

We can see sudden changes in music industry as you all aware that by the year 1990-2000, most artist in US or wherever in this world would sell their album more than a million copies and look how Eminem Marshall Mathers LP broke the fastest selling records in the first week. Today, even singer much better than Eminem would not sold more than a million copies of their album. why? Because why bother buying RM30 CD if you can download it for free.
5. I guess the only way to stop this thing is they (music industry) need to turn into internet themselves rather than fighting piracy by asking people to buy original CD. What if you sell a song in internet for less than a dollar per song with easy to use payment. I guess, everyone would go and buy it. The problem right now is, an album in internet would cost the same price as a normal CD, sometime only 1-2 dollar cheaper. Plus, the payment..need credit card, everything. Medicine oh Medicine
1. BBkk... What is the meaning of this? It mean boleh ba kalau kau... Today is my first time learning this abbreviation. I can use it now. BBkk..
2. So today i was in my attachment in Accident & Emergency (A&E) department. So nice because i can see a lot of interesting case and action compare to the ward. I guess the action in medicine mostly happen in A&E compare to other department. Look like what you can see in the movie.
3. I also met a group of people which wonder around like me in A&E. They turn out to be a group of student who are in this program (what do you call it) where you are exposed to medical world before entering it. They would either choose or not to choose medicine after this. This program usually held for A-level student, or matriculation or college student.
4. When i enter to Medical School, i can honestly say that i don't know anything about medicine. I do not know what the hell A&E is. I don't know anything about medicine. This make me difficult to adapt. Not until a few years in medical school then i started to get orientated in medicine.
5. Young people today are so lucky. They can enter the A&E department without being a medical student or a doctor and see emergency cases. They are so lucky. So jealous of them. hahaha.

3 Movies Review 2 ( Avatar, Bodyguard assasin, the princess frog)
So I am going to review 3 movies i've seen this week. I have been waiting for a very good movie to be out since few months ago. Every movie disappointed me recently. So i choose three movie this week which is Avatar, Bodyguard and assassins, and Disney's Princess and Frog. Here are my opinion regarding this three movie.
Princess and The Frog
One word to describe this new animation from Walt Disney... Classic. When i watched this movie, i start to remember the time when i used to watch Mulan, cinderella, Hunchback from Notredam... when i was a kid. About the story, it was too typical for an animation. There is hardwork, there is magic, there is adventure, and there is happy ending. Somehow i find it not that interesting enough. The jokes is terrible in this animation. I could not think of a reason why i heard so many people laughing for a bad joke like that..and i found the reason... 70 % of the audience watching this movie is children. The song... not memorable.
So if i am a kid watching this movie, i will definitely gave this movie 8-9 over 10. However, since i am 23 now, i gave this movie 3/10. If you want to remember your nostalgic moment during childhood, you might want to watch this movie.
Bodyguard and Assassins
Patriotic movie that failed to inspire me. Why? Because i am Malaysian and i don't give a damn hell who is Dr.Sun wen or whatever. Still, this movie captured my attention, at least half of it, regarding the importance of freedom and revolution. It also gave us the history of how revolution in China started. Ok. Fair enough. A little bit of China's history. I am still disappointed because there is not so many action in this movie. Not like Ip Man. Ip Man was marvelous. This one, too much dramatic moment. Why every hero dying moment need to be dramatic? It can be but you know, there is heroes in this movie. So too much dramas, dramatics..ssss..
The story is quite slow. I guess one can sleep for an hour then wake up for the next one hour to watch this movie and still understand it. The introduction part is too long
Yet this movie is worth to watch, for RM5. It is like watching Hati Malaya with some action. The ending is nice and predictable ( it is a history, we know who will win in the end).
For Dr.Sun.. i gave this movie 5/10. It mean that you can 50/50 to watch it or not. But if you like history and you are born in China or you are patriotic to China for some reason i don't know why you should watch this movie.

The first time i watched this movie trailer was a few months ago and i am not thinking of watching it that time. It was like a typical mystical war movie, like narnia or whatever..but i was wrong.
This is by far one the best movie i ever seen. This one should win academy award. Superb. I have been waiting for a good movie like this since a long time ago. 2 hours and 50 minutes of this movie is not enough.
The CGi in this movie is...damn good. You can't even differentiate which one is real and which one is computer generated ( not until you realize that nothing is real inside this movie, everything is computer generated picture). The world created by James cameroon is sure to captured everyone occipital area and until now, if i closed my eyes, i can see the beauty of the Pandora, the moon in this movie where everything begins. It was so beautiful. Where the hell in this world got a place so beautiful like that, i guess nowhere. Only i Pandora, a world created by James cameroon. So damn beauty. If you visit the most beautiful place on earth, you should consider it twice not because what is put in avatar sure be the most beautiful place if it is real.
the story is magnificent. It remind me about what is happening in the world today. Like Israel ( human) and Palestin ( the Na'vi). Human are trying to destroy Na'vi hometree while na'vi does not have enough weapon to protect themselves.
The message in this movie is so deep yet easy to understand. I guess it does make you think how cruel human being can be.
the ending.damn good. I always want a good ending like this.
Still, the CGI, the animation, the graphic is the main pillar in this movie. There is no doubt that transformer need to upgrade their technology now if they want to keep up with high expectation from the audiences after they watched Avatar. damn good.
I gave this movie 10/10, the highest rank of me for a movie and it make Avatar at the same level as Transformer 1, The Dark night, Iron man and Ip man in my list. I fully recommend everyone to watch this movie. You won't regret it.

Muslim mentality
1. Bak kut teh issue in Malaysia. haha. It is a funny issue but it clearly reveal the biggest pink elephant. The elephant is about how a Malay was too prejudice and to think that every chinese food is haram. I did mention this before somewhere in my blog where a muslim does not want to eat a food cooked by chinese or non-muslim even though they prepare it more clean and halal.
Do you realize that a muslim malay would rather eat in a place that have cholera toxin inside their food instead of eating in a chinese restaurant that is clean and did not serve pork or non-halal stuff. They rather ate in a restaurant run with irrationally expensive food that is bland in taste malay food rather than eating in vegetarian chinese restaurant. Mentality is a incurable disease. When it spread, no cure, we have to live with it.
2. Do you ever got this tips on how to make sure an indian restaurant is halal or not. Ask them to recite shahadat. If they could not, they are totally non-halal and they are lying when they put halal logo in their restaurant.
Nonsense! Ask KFC or mcDonald worker, all of them 100% Muslim. Is it really only muslim can work in a restaurant? is that a must? Other religion don't have the right to work and support their life? How stupid people mentality are. If i ate in an indian restaurant, the important thing is to make sure their sources of food is from halal source. Not whether they are muslim or not. How prejudice we are? We are nothing but a racist and religous extremist, if we kept this mentality.
3. Racism and religion-ism is the way we live. No one would dare to ask and doubt why are they doing what they are told to do by their religion. Somehow, they would follow it without any reason. And this is not wrong if it does not harm others. However, when it start to harm other, hurt other, discriminate and violate other, we should re think about it. For example, wearing tudung.. does it harm other? No. So why should we stop practicing it? But how about getting late to an appointment because of your long prayer...If i say this is wrong people would call me murtad or whatever now, but i still want to say it. haha.
There is no excuse of long prayer to be late on an appointment! This situation that cause Muslim to be inferior to others. Not competent. Because they rather pray for a long long time instead of stuggling to be first. My prayer is so quick until people can't see me doing it everytime. But i stressing here, that there is time that we can have a long prayer, or slow prayer.. there is a time when you are free and have nothing to do, when you have your own time.
I love to see a muslim who are first and on time. I hate when i was asked regarding where my friends are and i need to answer " they were praying". The next question would be " you did not pray". And i would answer " they prayer is long, mine is short, don't have time to pray panjang."
And the funny thing is, there is a person who ask me " can God hear you when you pray quickly?".
Haha.. God did. cause G0d always listen to me even though i am not praying. God almighty!.

Banjir SPU
This is unusual... not the flood..but the fact that i post 2 things in 1 day. haha.
Let the story begin..........
It was not until 2 PM in the afternoon that the sky become dark and suddenly we can feel the temperature was dropping rapidly from too hot, to become just nice. At 2PM, our lecture on Drugs in special setting begin and i am sure that in the end of the lecture, i cannot get anything because i barely can hear the voice of the lecturer. Not his fault. It was raining too heavily along the 1 hour lecture. Rain and thunder, it was not a perfect time for lecture.
It was not until 3 PM that the lecture finish. Everyone is relieved and start to pack their stuff and want to go back. Not usual to have a free time after three o'clock. The schedule usually extend until 5 PM or 7 PM or more. But today, 3 PM, everyone is excited to go back.
It was not until someone stand up and open the lecture room hall to have look outside and shout because something is totally not right outside. Everyone start to rush and take a glimpse. Oh my good, its flooding..and we are trapped....
This is the corridor to the main gate. If you want to go out from the clinical block, you need to swim to the gate.
Two brave amoi walking through the flood. The water reach the level of their ankle, for now in this picture. It actually reach the thigh when they walk further and closer to the gate. It become deep, deep, and deeper.

Rejected
1. Have you ever been rejected before? Do you had that kind of feeling? The feeling of anger, sad and other 10-20 different feeling that you can't describe?
2. I've been rejected so many times yet everytime i still feel the same thing. I hate that feeling.
3. The latest rejection happen today in Haematology ward. I was building a good rapport with a patient, talking about his family, his illnesses, his problem, and how he feel and try to be emphaty to him. He was cooperative and warm to me.
4. The purpose i was there is to observe the procedure of Bone Marrow aspiration that usually only done in Tuesday, i missed one this morning and this patient is my last chance.
5. The time when the procedure start, i asked again the patient whether we can observe or not. This is a routine, you cannot observe anything without consent from patient. That is a rule in medicine. I asked nicely and politely to him and the answer i get is so polite too... "maybe not". I was confused or that patient is confused? What is the meaning of maybe not. For a brief minutes, the awkward moment last. The moment when i don't know exactly what is the meaning of "maybe not". it is a rejection which is put so vaguely until no party can be harm by it but eventually it hurt a lot.
6. I was so mad, waiting for almost 30 minutes and spend time talking with the patient yet he do this to me... Just hate it.
7. Rejection can be in any form but everytime, the impact is still the same. You will feel hurt in your chest. A discomfort feeling that came from unknown origin inside your thoracic cavity. And i get it. Why people always said that if you want to reject, you need to be honest and not to put it vaguely. because it hurt more. Maybe if the patient just said no to me, it won't hurt that much. But with the answer "maybe not"..... hate it.
8. I wonder why medical student need to ask consent for every procedure observed while nursing student rarely do this. They may do this but hardly they are rejected as much as we do. maybe because the mentality of everyone is - a nurse is always there and student nurse is a nurse, but for a person who are wearing labcoat, not a nurse, not a doctor also, so they became confused. What the hell is medical student? I guess

MLTR in UMS
1. I did not go to MLTR concert in UMS last night. No money to go. I guess it went well. Some of my friend went to watch the show and they said it was worth it. I really want to go but, oh well maybe they came back later in few years.
2. I was annoyed when i heard that some people are against this concert in UMS spreading sheets of paper talking 'brilliantly' on how misguided those people are when they supporting this show. They said that the big Dewan Canselori in UMS is supposed to be the place for graduation and people fought for their life to get into the hall during graduation day. They would said that where is the student right when everyone is turning the big hall into a entertaiment hall and not for the purpose of giving graduation slip to a success student.
3. I say it all nonsense! And some element of immaturity and funny too. Firstly, i do not need to fought hard to get into the hall. I just can simply go there right now and spend my time there as long as i would. How easy is that? I don't need to be a student to be there also. I saw cleaner and other staff cleaning that hall everyday. They did not get straight A and went into UMS and struggle to be there.
4. My point is, graduation is not about the hall. When i was in the first year of study which is around 4 and half years ago, my first day in UMS, i was in that hall registering myself into the system. A few months after that, i was in that hall watching Mooncake festival and later Deepavali celebration inside that hall. heh? What is the difference between that and MLTR concert?
5. Just months ago, Malaysian film festival was held in that hall. Anyone talking about that? I guess not. but maybe they did but still they are too immature to understand the sole purpose of learning and trying to be success in university.
6. I hope that people would open their mind and do not reject changes. That hall is not the purpose you learn and struggle. You are struggling for your future, to be the best. I guess some UMS student still in 1954 era. Still walk around with close mind. The difference is, they closed mind know how to talk and spread agenda.
7. Anyone is welcome to do what ever show they want in Dewan Canselori as this would promote UMS and at the same time make this university not that boring. I don't want a lame university like a primary school or something. I want cool university like this one where MLTR was doing a show inside it. That is cool.
8. People, if your purpose to be in this university is to become a robot for the future, you might just stay home or get a job in factory or something. Being in a university means that you need to think, not only based on your narrow perspective belief, but think with others broad persepective mind of this era. With a belief so narrow like that, we might just live under the feet of developed country and maybe just hoping to die and go to heaven, maybe become suicide bomber or something. haha.

3. I say it all nonsense! And some element of immaturity and funny too. Firstly, i do not need to fought hard to get into the hall. I just can simply go there right now and spend my time there as long as i would. How easy is that? I don't need to be a student to be there also. I saw cleaner and other staff cleaning that hall everyday. They did not get straight A and went into UMS and struggle to be there.
4. My point is, graduation is not about the hall. When i was in the first year of study which is around 4 and half years ago, my first day in UMS, i was in that hall registering myself into the system. A few months after that, i was in that hall watching Mooncake festival and later Deepavali celebration inside that hall. heh? What is the difference between that and MLTR concert?
5. Just months ago, Malaysian film festival was held in that hall. Anyone talking about that? I guess not. but maybe they did but still they are too immature to understand the sole purpose of learning and trying to be success in university.
6. I hope that people would open their mind and do not reject changes. That hall is not the purpose you learn and struggle. You are struggling for your future, to be the best. I guess some UMS student still in 1954 era. Still walk around with close mind. The difference is, they closed mind know how to talk and spread agenda.
7. Anyone is welcome to do what ever show they want in Dewan Canselori as this would promote UMS and at the same time make this university not that boring. I don't want a lame university like a primary school or something. I want cool university like this one where MLTR was doing a show inside it. That is cool.
8. People, if your purpose to be in this university is to become a robot for the future, you might just stay home or get a job in factory or something. Being in a university means that you need to think, not only based on your narrow perspective belief, but think with others broad persepective mind of this era. With a belief so narrow like that, we might just live under the feet of developed country and maybe just hoping to die and go to heaven, maybe become suicide bomber or something. haha.

1. Going around 2 different shopping mall today. 1borneo and the new Suria Sabah. For people who do not know, both of this hypermall offer only high quality clothing a.k.a expensive. A T-shirt would cost minimally RM50. Rarely you could find a 15 ringgit cloth.
2. To my surprise, there is a lot of shopping there. They bought all that expensive stuff and does not show that kind of expression... the expression of expressing the stuff you touch is damn expensive.
3. How do people become so lucky in their life. Born pretty and rich. They can choose every thing in their life from that tight bikini, jeans, shirt up until to their accompany, friends and boyfriend. Same goes to guys, born rich and they can actually accept and reject everything they want.
4. To live as a moderate socioeconomic background, there is a big difference. As i was not free to choose what i want and i had to live only with something i need. Everyday when people are thinking of where to eat and spend their night time, i was thinking of how much to save for tomorrow.
5. I am so lucky to have some friend who are in the same status as me and more lucky to have friends who came from high economic background but still have some humble feeling and be friend with us.
7. At first, i was thinking negatively about my life compare to those who money is not a problem or at least not a big problem. However, i realize that different people are born with different background and different difficulty. For example, i was born this way, not much money to spend of expensive stuff but i am happy. I am happy to be able to eat RM5.50 Friend rice with chicken every night. I was happy to be able to eat Rm1.50 Kaya ball with my girlfriend and be able to watch RM5 movie and window shopping and thinking of time later when we have money to buy what we want.
As for those who money is not a problem, what i've describe just now does not make them happy. They maybe became happy when they can give their girlfriend a RM 45 flowers, or spend time in an exclusive restaurant and thinking of their future on where to go and spend their time overseas.
I may find it difficult to have little money to eat. They may find it difficult to have little money to buy new shirt.
So it is fair actually. haha. In the end, both find their life not so easy.
8. Quality of life is subjective. One may find his quality of life is low because he had no money to buy a new expensive handphone, and another one might find their quality of life is high just to have little money to buy used handphone from bargain shop.
9. So that is why we all can live in this world in harmony. Both rich and poor. But i think, the responsibility is there for the rich. I really hate arrogant people who have money and show off + they never help the poor. I did not mean to help me because i am not poor. But there is poor people living with us. Across the region. Across the world. I guess everyone need to think about each other.

1. This is my 262 post entry for this blog. Wow, i wrote so much even though not many much people read it. I just love writing and showing some honest opinion of mine regarding everything around me.
2. I guess i will write something on my history of writing in the net. Just to celebrate my 262 entry.
3. It all started when i was in form 2. I guess it is the first time i have my own computer. Or maybe it's form 1. But when i was in form 1, i even did not know how to turn on and shut down computer. I remember the computer shop's technician showing me how to Shut down my computer and i had to call my sister because i cannot understand what he was showing me back then.
4. My enthusiasm in computer bring me to a level where i master Windows 98 very quickly. I began to understand how Windows function and all the basic stuff behind it. I even try to learn the C+ language or whatever but without proper teacher, i could not understand it until now. I did learn about html code but i forgot everything today.
5. So during form 2, in St.Anthony school, I used to set up a small page in the internet.. at that time you can create only web page. It's a difficult task. Blogging is so easy today, at that time you had to set up everything, background, arrangement... it's a web page. My first web page is regarding St.Anthony school and a group in Mirc Called #pantai. In the end, the page just a page with many marquee, but not many content. To make an in front page took me about 2-3 days to set so i gave up. Too hard.
6. With Microsoft front page published ( a software especially for junior web page developer), i start everything again. This time, i start to talk about myself. However, still difficult to create and manage your own web page. I register my page under cjb.net. I could not remember the address. I guess it is zacker.cjb.net or something. Previously i was known as Zacker in the net.
7. 2002, i was in boarding school. No internet connection. So i could not start my hobby of writing in the net. However, i learn something much interesting in my boarding school. I learn how to fix a PC. Until today, give me hardwares, i give you a PC. But then, now everything is Laptop. I don't know anything about laptop even though i did dissemble my laptop once but i found nothing. Complicated.
8. Forgot to mention, in 2002, i did set up a new blog, during that time weblog just started in the internet. So i register one blog even though i did not update it very much. Just keep it for later.

Lecture Sleep Syndrome
1. Sleeping during lecture or not paying attention during lecture is one major problem i am facing right now. Every lecture, i will fell asleep after 30 minutes the lecture started.
2. I am trying to avoid this problem by having enough sleep up until to 9 hours per day. The result is frustrating. Even though i did not fall asleep when i do that, still i can't focus on paying attention after 30 minutes.
3. Coffee. The long claimed to be the most affective way to keep your eyes open. Nah! I have try it and the result also disappointing. 10 minutes after drinking coffee, i will become drowsy and disorientated.
4. Don't eat to much before lecture. Full stomach can induce sleep. I have try this one too and still I'm feeling drowsy during lecture. Sometimes, when you are hungry, your attention will also suppress so much or less, the result still the same.
5. Write notes during lecture. Some people find this helpful but not me. I can't even think on what to write when i am drowsy and feeling asleep.
6. Drop down temperature. Yes. This one is helpful. When it is cold, you will hardly fall asleep. Howeverm you can't concentrate if it is too cold. Furthermore, there is some people who can't tolerate cold and prefer warm which i found weird because we are warm blooded, we are not supposed to love hot condition. We can stand cold better than hot. However, this depend on the fact that how much insulation inside your body vary from person to person. Thus, it is acceptable if someone can't tolerate cold. I guess in cold, our brain become more sharp. Do you realize that when you are nervous, you will feel cold rather than feeling warm?
7. Does not matter how much you try to stay awake, to sleep or not to sleep during lecture is largely depend on how the lecturer are delivering the lecture and the lecture must not exceed 45 minutes. If the lecture is boring, and it is 2 hours long, no point in doing many methods to prevent sleep.
p/s: Another methods to prevent sleep during lecture is to bring some snack and eat while listening to the lecture. Simple food such as biscuit, sweet can help you concentrate much better. However, some lecturer does not want people to eat during lecture. As i say, it depend largely on the lecturer.

Global Warming
1. Every day is getting hotter and hotter. It's like tomorrow, we can still running on the field during day time but now we can't even stand for 5 minutes under the hot sun. And when we say hot sun, we are not referring to 12 o'clock noon but a wide day time period starting from 7 am to 4.30 pm.
2.Feel like yesterday we can still went jogging on 7.00 am, now we can't. It feel like yesterday our science teacher said that we get vitamin D when we exposed our skin to morning sunlight which she refer to the sun light before 10 am. Today you expose yourself to 7 am sunlight, tomorrow you will get basal cell carcinoma ( skin cancer) like you are exposed to noon sunlight.
3. It is like yesterday when our car aircond broke up and we use fresh air along the way, but today when there is no aircond in your car, you will arrived to Emergency department very quickly because of Heat stroke.
4. When asked about where i want to go during weekend or holiday, i would put 'go to the beach' at the bottom of the list. I can't stand 5 minutes at the beach. If i do so, i would only sit under the tree and watch the sea. Even that will cause sun burn. It's true. Sitting at the beach with reflection of the sun light to you will cause burn to your skin.
5. How many years before it's getting more hot?
6. Am i the only one who think that this world is getting warmer? Am i getting to soft and gentle to my body? Or is it everyone realize this too?
7. I guess, in the near future, human life will dramatically change. We will need more power source. The power need to be used to brighten the night because i guess everything need to be done at night and during day time, we need to quarantine ourselves indoor.

mount climbing at night
fishing at night,
shopping at night.
everything at night.
8. Or we can reduce the power source of today, and save the day for the future.

Open mind.
1. Yesterday friday prayer Khutbah is talking about HIV. It was a good talk. Relating HIV with religion is no new thing. Every religion is getting this impression of 'i told you so'. This is because religion may be right in promoting abstinence and thus preventing HIV transmission. Correct. No doubt about it.
2. However, as many people know, science and religion does not correlates well with each other. Not to say that either one is wrong, but the connection between the two is still far away to be understand.
3. The only problem with religion is religious people always try to conclude and summarize every science facts to be related with religion even though they may not have the evidence of it. For example, thousand years ago, an interpretation in Koran was saying that this world is flat like a carpet. Hundred years after that, it was proven that the world is round. Then after that the religious people start to realize that their interpretation is wrong. Not to say the sentences is wrong but the interpretation is wrong. This is because, religious man always want to summarize everything in an instance rather than to think it openly.
4. Regarding yesterday friday prayer, the talk on HIV which i am concern with is when the Khatib is saying that AIDS is a punishment, to those who is having pre-marital sex. It is correct in term of pre-marital sex is the contributing factors to HIV spread, but the word punishment is not correct.
5. For me, AIDS is a challenged by Allah S.W.T to us human. To make us think and try to understand how powerful God creation. How complex is HIV, even we can't understand it after 26 years living with it in this world. We can't fight it. We might stop it. But we are far from having a cure for it.
6. Instead of labeling it as a punishment from God, i might be better for us, if we want to promote our religion, to learn more about this disease and try to save and help everyone who acquire it. There is no such thing as punishment in this world because everyone is a mistake. So to fix it, we might need to help each others.
7. I totally disagree of the statement of God punishment.
8. I guess, we need to be open minded nowadays. Not to be bold and follow whatever interpret to us. As many people reject Darwin's Theory on human evolution, religous community totally rejected it but i, myself still have that curiosity regarding which one is correct.
9. First of all, there is lot of undeniable evidence showing that we are originated from a single cell organism from the sea. As all our cell are floating and surrounded by Extracellular fluid which has the same properties as Sea water, the need for us to take salt everyday to make us live " as salt in sea water need to make sea fish alive".
10. Second of all, there is a lot of observable changes in human appearance everyday. To make it easy, just compare the celebrity from the 80's and today. Obviously, today there are more prettier than before. Years after years, human look more sophisticated and become prettier and prettier. we are evoluting.
11. Evolution is possible.
12. However, what make religous person fight with scientist is when no one can explain how Adam and Eve can connect with the evolution theory.
13. In my opinion, and this is an opinion only, it is possible. No one knows how Adam and Eve look like when they first appear in this world. Everyone would imagine that Adam and Eve look like today's Adam, but i guess not. Probably not. even 20 years changes is obvious, how about thousands year changes? Maybe the evolution is started after Adam and Eve is created.
14. And what about every organism originated from the sea? It is also possible in my opinion. I would answer it with a question. How God create Adam? What is the proper mechanism? No one knows. As many people imagine, God created it maybe like a magic. We imagine it. But no one can be sure about this. What if God create human with a power that first change a molecule to become a cell. And from this cell, God shape us. Use the sea as a medium to develope everything. maybe we are not created in a day. Maybe a day is equals to thousand year. Who knows?
15. So in conclusion, open our mind. Don't be afraid. We are trying to prove the power of God. I find nothing wrong with that.

Before sleep murmuring.
1. Watching Mulan last night. Quite nice compare to other hollywood movie. I just think that the story is not flowing smoothly. Lot of scene are cut short to make the story quickly reach the climax and the end. It is ok though, worth it. However, i just love the old Mulan by Disney.
2. Money is decreasing quickly nowadays. Why? Am i spending too much? Am i jollying around everynight? Am i eating first class food everyday? No. I did not. Still, everything now is expensive. Let me show some calculation. A few hours ago, i withdraw Rm50 from my bank account, i use Rm12 to pay for the dobby (obviously i have work to do from monday to sunday - no laundry time- and i am lazy). Rm20 i use to pay for my car petrol. Rm5 for a plate of fried rice. RM8 for one ticket movie and Rm2.50 for 22oz ice lemon tea.. I just finish my RM50 in just a few hours. I have to withdraw Rm50 again to buy some stuff in Giant.
A few years ago, RM50 is precious. You can buy a lot. If you all did not realize it, let me tell you the price of a plate of rice + vegie+ fish 4 years ago.. RM2.50!. Do you remember the underground floor of Centrepoint KK where every stall there use to shout " Satu lauk satu sayur rm2.50". Where do all this shouters go today? No more RM2.50. Satu lauk, satu Sayur RM4.50 standard. Rm4.50 is considered cheap.
3. The increase in food price does not really affect those who are working. Everyone of them would say, if the food price is high, don't eat outside, eat inside. Cook yourself which i found that it cannot be applied for a College student like me and the other. We are prohibited to cook in our hostel, and even if we could eventually, our room is 3X5 metres. However, when you went to the market, all of this is nonsense. Oil price even decrease a few months ago, and government is subsiding the rice. Sugar price not increase for years.
5. The more sad thing is here in Sabah, raw material is very cheap. But, the processed materials are expensive. Why? I guess lot of bussinessman here in Sabah already full stomach eating the money from the effort of sabah's people.

2. Money is decreasing quickly nowadays. Why? Am i spending too much? Am i jollying around everynight? Am i eating first class food everyday? No. I did not. Still, everything now is expensive. Let me show some calculation. A few hours ago, i withdraw Rm50 from my bank account, i use Rm12 to pay for the dobby (obviously i have work to do from monday to sunday - no laundry time- and i am lazy). Rm20 i use to pay for my car petrol. Rm5 for a plate of fried rice. RM8 for one ticket movie and Rm2.50 for 22oz ice lemon tea.. I just finish my RM50 in just a few hours. I have to withdraw Rm50 again to buy some stuff in Giant.
A few years ago, RM50 is precious. You can buy a lot. If you all did not realize it, let me tell you the price of a plate of rice + vegie+ fish 4 years ago.. RM2.50!. Do you remember the underground floor of Centrepoint KK where every stall there use to shout " Satu lauk satu sayur rm2.50". Where do all this shouters go today? No more RM2.50. Satu lauk, satu Sayur RM4.50 standard. Rm4.50 is considered cheap.

If I were rich
What will i do if i am a rich man now?
1. I won't feel boring, every night i can eat expensive cuisine.
2. I won't be here in this room, I must go somewhere where there is a lot of music and drinks.
3. I won't plan to go and watch movie this weekend. I must be planning to go somewhere such as Japan, Hawaii, or at least a resort in Pulau Tiga, Tioman, or Langkawi.
4. I won't be driving my Nee-chan to Clinical Block. I will be driving my brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Pro.
5. I won't be calling my mother with my CSL phone. I must have a new HTC PDA phone.
6. I won't be writing this blog. I will be busy playing the brand new game in my 8gb RAM PC with the latest powerful graphic card.
7. I won't be friend with you. I will be friend only to those who are rich and fabalous.
8. I won't recognize all my friend because i may not be in Medical School here, i may be there overseas or at least private medical school for rich people.
9. I won't think of going back to my hometown in Labuan. My family would be busy with their shares, stocks, and Bursa Saham KL, spa, saloon, and meeting with client.
10. I won't be with my girlfriend. My girlfriend is Paris Hilton and Nicole ritchie.
11. I won't be me. I am totally different man.
That is why i don't want to be rich right now. Because i don't want to become someone else, lose my friend, and lose my family, and the person i loved. I just want to be who i am...

Sarcastic babling
1. Suria KK Sabah has officially opened today. Wow. This is rapid. I could not believe a few months ago, that place was nothing, only tree and sand. Today, a big building stood there the same size as Centre Point KK. It's the second shopping mall to be open after 1borneo last year. Again, my prediction is wrong when i said that this mall will be opened when i already finish my study ( I also predict that 1borneo will be opened after i graduated but i was wrong, i am enjoying 1borneo since last year). So never underestimate the contractor in Sabah. So along my 5 years study, 2 shopping mall build in front of my eyes.
2. However, there is some building which is slow to be build. One of them is the hospital. Right until today, nothing has been done to build a new hospital in Sabah despite numerous claimed by the government that there is already project to build it. And when they did start to build it, it will take maybe 2-3 years to finish. Compare to the mall... it took months to be build and the size is huge compare to hospital.
3. Sabah is getting more and more developed. Wrong. Kota Kinabalu is getting more and more developed. If we look outside this beautiful city of KK, we can see people living without water, proper sanitation, and even poor diet while people living in KK eat fast food everyday. Lot of places still don't have electric supply and good road for transportation.
4. There is a loud promises to help Sabah develop in years to come. Hopefully, this is true because after the last general election, a lot of 'Pink Elephant' is being exposed in the government. One of them is when goverment told that Sabah has been forgotten for 10 year and now is the time for equals right with Peninsular Malaysia. As this proved that for 10 years, Sabah was forgotten and the same government rules for that 10 years period.
5. Former Prime Minister Tun Dr.Mahathir is the person who always try to develop sabah and his effort should not be forgotten. Now, Prime Minister Dato Najib are using the same approach as Mahathir, if it is for political purpose, at least benefit can be taken from it. I was thinking, what is Pak Lah contribution to Sabah?
6. Sabah is proven to be the only state that are practicing 1malaysia since before 1malaysia were being created. True. I have live in this place for so long. Chinese and Malay and Kadazan, and Dusun, and India, and Bajau and another 30 plus-something- tribe are living peacefully with each other. We even have 1malaysia&philipine as philipinos live peacefully here also.
7. However, there is people that are trying to change this. Start to classify other based on their religion, colours, language and what they eat (sadly). As for now, you would see chinese eating in Malay restarant, Malay eating chinese food, India's food is everyone favourite, and other ethnic food were preserved. I was sad to hear when someone does not want to eat in a restaurant who own by a chinese. Haram in Malay muslim definition today is " any food cook by non-muslim". It is easy to teach children like that other than describing of all the criteria of Halal food. Sadly, this will cause damage to future generation.
8. And even if you are indeed paranoid about eating non-halal food, you have the rights to do so. However, we are not supposed to feel disguise to others food even though you cannot eat it. It was not polite. But this is what some of us practiced today. Haram in malay muslim definition is " cannot eat the food, hate it, disguise it, hate the one who cook it".
9. I am hoping that no person is doing such thing or thinking as such for at least in Sabah. If you want to destroy the whole future and Malaysia, let us just preserved one state to be as it is. If we cannot do good, we must stop other from doing good. If we are that evil, we must not promote other to be evil.
10. Don't take it straight. I am being sarcastic here because some people are more likely to listen to sarcasm rather than talk straight and directly. Remember our grandmother, what she always said when she don't want us to go outside at night? She said " Pergilah, tengah2 malam lagi bagus, bleh berkawan dengan hantu. pergila ( Go, it's better if it is midnight so you can be friend with ghost, go".
She is being sarcastic. What happen if she said " Don't go"? No one will listen.

Child asking about Israel-Palestine
Child: Mom, who is bad? Israel or Palestine
Mom: Don't know son, you are not old enough to think about this.
Child: Why are there so many child like me die in Palestine?
Mom: They got killed in the war son...
Child: Why don't they just run?
Mom: They cannot son, there is nowhere else they can go. And the bullet is so fast until they cannot run anywhere..

My stress on gentleman
Is it only my delusion or is it really happening today that more and more people are turning from male to female and female act like a male. This group which use to be called pondan nowadays are becoming more frequent everywhere.
Battle on equal right of human to be who they want to be is used to attack a lot of people like me who are reject this culture ultimately. I can be call prejudice, narrow minded, old fashion. Still i will not change my stand on this.
I cannot see the benefit of being an opposite character which you are born with. It was nature who determine on what will we be, male or female and no in between.
yes, There is congenital condition which a person born with ambiguous genitalia where we cannot determine the sex and some cases reported that a person can bear with 2 different gene, male and female. Usually in this case, we wait until the child grow up and we will look on which characterisitc he/she will be dominant with, either male or female, then we will do reconstruction surgery to determine the gender.
However, what i am concern is, people who are not born with this condition. people who are born with n0rmal gentialia. normal organ to secret the hormone and everything, yet they are pretending to be the opposite of who they are.
Some of this people might say that they are actually not what they are, they have opposite gender soul in them which i found is nonsense. There is no such thing as soul entrapment. Gender is not determine by the soul but by the physiological mechanism inside the body. I bet if you test all the 'girl' for testosterone, they will all have the same level as other normal guy do. If not, they will obviously develop their breast, hip, and even shrink their testes. But no way that will going to happen.
To be fair, i am not blaming the existence of these confuse people because they do exist and they have the equal right to be what they are. I just hope that someday they will realize who they actually are and how thankful they are to be what they were. There is so much loss of our society if more and more people are going to be like this. Unless, those 'girl' willing to do male job even though they dress girl. Obviously they are not.
As for girls who are becoming guys, maybe this is productive as they will not limited to do girl thing only. But still they will be a loss.
If someone said that one day, in the future, women will be more than man until women have to fight for a man, i would say, "yes, but wait...is that penis?"
