This is just a thread. I found out that one my friend is forcing me and leading me to become a teacher hater. I just want to clarify that i did not hate teachers. They teach us and i appreciate that the knowledge they gave is my provision today. But should this make them God? And make them human with no mistake? If I would critics on every teachers, it would take my whole life to classify the bad and the good teachers. So rather than making a personal critics, I am more likely to look at the system. They way of people looking at teachers, and the way of teachers looking to themselves.
This is the point I want to make from my imperfection writing. So, making an argument with me is just wasting of time if you did not understand what i am trying to explain.
Doctors are holding on hippocratic oath saying 'To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art ; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art.'
... means that we are also a part of teacher, who share knowledge with others and to look the student as our own brothers. What i want to say is, if teachers having an Oath like this, i hope they have it, it just make sense.
There is a tight system is medicine. Everything go by the rules.
There is no point comparing the two profession, is it? What I am disappointed to the salary is actually about doctors not being paid fair enough for their work and 5 years of study with 2 years more on Housemanship. But to say that i want to condemned teachers, asking them to be throw away and hate them is totally the wrong idea of some people. I just want to say if a teachers want a better salary for them, then why doctors should not?
If someone working as a cleaner got more payment than a teachers, would teachrs just agree with it?
It was a misunderstanding. I hope that my friend would understand my point. Someone is rather be emotional on this.
I am sorry but i really hate someone who did not want to agree or at least, think about what we arguing about.
p/s: All my teachers friends.. i really appreciate what you are all becoming. Even got jealous because some of you studying overseas. I never went overseas. Be a good teachers. A good doctor is a good listener. A good teacher is a good..... let me think first about it. Can't find a word. A good teacher is a good teacher indeed.
p/s: My seniors ( who are a H.O now) said that they got paid rm3500 per month for 7 days work, 6am-9pm. 12 On-call per months means 12 times a month they have to stay awake at night, and they have exam to attend. I am really scared about a life like this but i have to face it. haha. Too tiring is what they described to me. But i am sure they have a lot of fun doing what we want to do.
p/s: Doctors salary are going to be increase by 2010 according to our DG Tan sri haji Ismail Merican. I hope that it would happen.
p/s: Actually, i am not supposed to think about salary first because i am still a student. But listening to the doctors complaining about it making me nervous for my future.
p/s: But after listening to my seniors, they said that it is enough. The money is quite enough since you will not need much if you a doctor. Through out the day, you will be at the hospital till night, then you will be exhausted and sleep and continue doing the same thing the other day. No money needed for that. hahahah. Peace.

Recruite Cinta songsang - a truth about university life in Malaysia.
1. I've seen so much in the news about this up rising culture happening here in Malaysia. Someone should try to stop this for becoming more and more? Yes. I agree about that.
2. When i woke up this morning and i tune into Malaysia premiere channel showing some talk show they called Selamat Pagi Malaysia, the issue burst out again, again. Now they are giving some statistic research or whatever showing that more lesbian girl become lesbian or they called it pengkid because of their hatred to male as result of unsuccessful relationship in their past. While the gay boys, they usually started at university level thus now the authority is targetting the university level to stop this homosexual culture.
3. They are still trying to search for the cause of this in the university, is it life style? They said that because male live together, they become gay... that is nonsense. I live with male since my form 4 in secondary school and i never become homo.
4. What i would like to share here is about recruiter to homosexual group. Sorry but homosexual is not appropriate maybe for this group. In my experience studying in the university, there usually a group for this type of guy, who loved to become girl and attracted to male. That is why, not all the 'soft' guy in the university is gay. This is because only certain of them recruited into this group.
5. Some of us called them au au gang. I remember stepping into their dorm, mistakenly, during my second year of study, and i can see them in the room, all of the guys looking so much like a girl, like they are doing some meeting. And i have been told by a friend, that only their kind can get into that room and it is very 'dangerous' to be there because they attracted to boys and not girl.
6. This kind of group exist all over the univeristy, school, or any instituition in Malaysia for as much as i know. I still remember when i was in the boarding school, half of my roomates were part of this kind of group and i love listening to their story when they gather, talking about boys and how they want boys to 'hit' them.
7. When it come to university level, they must have been upgraded. So that is why people saw this thing started in University.
8. I have friends who is soft, but when they did not get in touch with this group, they just be like that but not a homosexual. So, group like this is the issue to be handle.
9. From what i heard, this group know how to be social so their part in any student activity is undeniable. That is why they remains until today. Can i say, without this group, no activity would happen in the university. It is more like a social group. This kind of people is more confident and active in social activity compare to others, that is why they are sometimes well accepted by others. As long as they do their work.
10. I am sick of it you know... even some of them were my friends and all, but i still think that they are wrong. This is because based on my religion, based on Koran, word from Allah, stating that this culture is not forgiveable and totally wrong. Not just based on religion, but based on natural law of all species in the world. Male with female, produce a human. Male male = nothing. It is a relationship without future.
11. In my opinion, it is not wrong if you were born like no others, but the strive for human is to be a human and what human are, is what we are before.

Oil increase, Price Up. Oil down. Price up
1. When the oil price increase here in Malaysia, all the item and stuff prices also went up. higher than ver expected. But when the oil price decrease and became cheap, the other stuff, groceries, food prices going down... really a problem
2. Fish. When the oil price increase, the fish price went so high here in Labuan. The fisherman gave reason that they have to increase the prices of their seafood including fish because the petrol they used to fish was so expensive. I thought they got subsidized... ?? Now the oil price decrease.. fish prices still climbing up. What is the reason now? No one knows.
3. I think someone has to do something for the above problem.
4. Bloggers code of conduct? Malaysia is suggesting that. I do not know what code would be there for bloggers but i agree if bloggers put out their name and full profile in their blog because i hate bloggers who complain but did not want the public know him/her so he/she would be free from resposnsibility of his/her writing. But to restrict any idea of writing i would really disagree.
5. We should be proud to be Malaysian.

Labuan Politics
Sitting on a canteen today listening to all the current political issues in labuan.
1. I did not care much about politics in labuan but still, as a voting citizen, i really am curious on who is actually the people representative here in Labuan now? It seems that there is two people ruling this small island.
2. I heatd that during Perwakilan Election, one of the wakil was having an accident and had to be sent to KK but the vote is still full even with an absent voters.
3. I really am dissapointed about current politics in Labuan, too much corruption, too much bereaucracy.
4. Last APACPH conferrence, one of the participant ( an australian citizen) was asking about the difference between Okinawa and Malaysia ( Okinawa is an island in Japan where her health level was so impressive there) regarding their community and the leader. He said that the leader was choosen by the people, but here in Malaysia, yes we are having an election but we vote for party and the party choose a leader for us. He said that use our current system, district health setting will not be as advanced as Okinawa in Japan. Is it true? I think.
5. Still hating the freak workshop i went yesterday, I still cannot believe that i was budgeting my money for changing my absorber than eventually my car got a scratch there 'spontaneously' then i have to pay for it to be painted back. SH**.

Labuan car workshop?
1. I was really sad about today. Since my car absorbers are damaged both front left and right side, so i spend Rm235 to buy a pair new one. I send my car to a Bengkel in labuan called comfortable autoshop or in Malay we called it Bengkel Selesa. I thought it was the best.
The first thing that make me sad today is about the price. I bought all the parts and ask the tauke there to install it and he charged me rm80. In KK, the highest price for me to install part is rm35. That is the highest.
I still can accept that. Maybe it is really hard to install an absorber. The second thing is, when i drove my car back from the workshop after a whole day leaving my car day ( I went home first then came back to the shop to take my car), when i reached my home, i realized that there is a big scratch at the side of my car which i did not realize before this. What i realize is that scratch does not exist before i sent that car to the workshop.
I immediately went to the workshop back to ask about it and i was shock and angry when the tauke is blaming me saying that i am the one who cause that scratch. He said that before i took that car from his workshop that scratch was not there... Am i experiencing time lost? Because i could not remember hitting someting or scratching my car when i drove that car from the workshop to my house...
I was so angry but he does not want to admit that the scratches happen when the car is in his workshop. what to do? I have no evidence but i am telling the truth and i want to share to everyone who is reading this right now that i am 100% sure that scratch is not there this morning and then after i took that car from the workshop, the scratch is there already. I was really mad. Stupid liar. I hate liar. At least you just say i don't know and don't blame others if you are not sure.
2. Bengkel Selesa in W.P Labuan, is blacklisted now in my list. A liar running that workshop.
3. I want justice. Can the world be fair for once.
4. I hope that such people does not exist. \
5. Now i have to spend more money on fixing the car, have to paint is again, it would cost me Rm100++.
6. I hate you.
7. I have a friend name Siti mardiyah currently reading this article.

Teacher, Cikgu, Guru?
1. When i was a little kid, i always praise the teacher because i thought that they are the one who is the greatest among all. Well said, who is a doctor without a teacher, who is a police without a teacher. Everyone need a teacher. But when i grow up, i realize that the definition of teacher is not about a person or multiple person. It is more on how do you learn, yourself, your experience, that is what teach you throught out your life.
I am a little concern about the young generation or even older generation of teacher which i think that not all the teachers are great teachers after all. Some of the teacher only know how to collect money from the people and using the name of the teacher to make themselves look superior. No one can fight what teacher said. Teacher always right. No way.
Teachers are 50% right and 50% wrong. And what are wrong is also what teach us to go on.
What i see now in this beautiful country of Malaysia, not more than half of the teachers is a great teacher. I can see how teacher now become so rude, always blaming the parents if the rudeness and the fault is on them, always blame the student even the trigger is from them.
Once i see a video of a teacher got kicked by her student. Analyzing the video with my friends, we all made a conclusion since we are all student before, we conclude that the fault is on the teacher. Looking at the teacher finger pointing direct to the face with the angry face, even we cannot listen to he voince but we know, the first impulse in our head is to strike her if we are the student. The problem on handling the rudeness of the student is to become role model and more understanding on teenage normal development rather than scolding and using force.
Do they teach all the teachers in Malaysia about normal development of child? teeager? because they should know how to handle different categories of ages rather than keep acknowledging their student as a 'student'.
2. I remember one of my great teachers when i was in secondary school said that she love us as much as she love her children and she want us to be the best. Well said. This is what a teacher should have rather than scolding and forcing and torturing the student to follow their concern.
Come to think about it, did they do the same thing to their own children?
3. I think teachers in malaysia should be teach to control their rudeness and teach on how to tackle a student rather than ordering the student.
4. regarding the money, what is the difference between a doctor and a teacher? Both are going for money. But still, a doctor is holding a life of a person, even there is money behind it, but to save life is the first priority since if a patient die, then a doctor can be blame on it, can be suspended or even brought to jail. What about teacher? Well, no teacher are brought to jail because their student became a thief or a murder.
5. But still, i want to thanks all my teacher that bring me here in my current position on pursuing my dream. Without you all, i cannot be here. But not all of you though. Some of the teacher i remember to hate until today since i cannot think what is the rationale behind their act on me. what is the rationale on hating me making friends with the problematic student? or even what is the rationale preventing me from listening music while i am studying and many more. But most of them is the best.
I can say a few names that i can remember, Guru Wan Zainol, Ustaz Hamim, Cikgu Taba, Ustaz zainal, Cikgu Azman, Cikgu Shim, Cikgu math di st.anthony dah lupa nama. Ustaza rohaya dan rohani, ustazah that teach me al-quran ( 3 of them) during my primary school, Cikgu Alice ( BM teacher in primary school)... for the people that i did not mention, please forgive me, i forgot your name. Too many name i think.
And the greatest teacher in my life is my parent.
To all lecturer in UMS. This is what is all about. You all ae great until now. And i hope until then.
6. This is a funny thing, i always get annoyed when teachers salary is reaching up to the level of a basic doctor salary. For me, doctor job is to tiring, too busy, no life. But my friends who study to become teacher always oppose me saying that their job is tiring too. haha. I don't know which one is right. Let it just flow then. Both of the occupation have their own responsibility. But i hope doctor salary should be more then. Hope so.

Empowering Rural Health promotion 2008 conference
1. I spend a week of my holiday for this 2 days conference in UMS and Sikuati, Kudat. It was a nice conference organized by our School Of Medicine UMS. Maybe not all of the things i can understand during the conference but sure i love it because I can see different educated people from different country.
2. The best paper presented for me, in my opinion, is Mental health in Rural area. haha. I maybe bias since i have undergone my Psychiatric posting and our lecturer Dr.Wendy was presenting the paper so, so much bias if i choose this one. So i think, if i reconsider, I would choose Dr. Walter Patrick paper because 2 of my friends and one of my junior were involved in that discussion. Dr. Walter Patrick was a very intelligent and a nice teacher.
3. The food is the main thing that encourage us to go the conference. Since we do not have much money by the end of semester, this is a big oppurtunity for us to get a free meal while learning. nice.
4. A few days ago, my friend lie to me telling me that she is going to married this december suddenly without warning. She is Emie Mading. I think i have wrote an article about her during my first year in medical school. This girl ar... very annoying by lying to me like that. Never mind, i remember the story of a shepard who lie about a tiger coming to eat his goat. Well, we will learn the moral of the story. Few rules in making jokes, don't make jokes of death, married, divorce and falling sick.
5. I am going to Sikuati, Kudat tomorow for the second day of the conference. Hmm, this is one of the meaningful holiday i ever had.
-Post APACPH picture taken today during discussion.

Way to study.
Since I am in primary school. I never have a standard way of studying since I changed school from a saint school to Boarding school, so I never found the best way of study yet, or I did not realized it.
I found a lot of interesting way of study among my friends and person that I know. Here I will listed some of them:
1. Study while listening music – the most common method used by student today.
2. Study while eating junk food – another most common method but this one not healthy.
3. Study in a quiet place- usually sentimental type of person would like this
4. Study while drinking coffee –
5. Study and keep talking to him/herself.
6. Study while lying on the bed.
7. Study while standing and walking around.
8. Study in the washroom ( I have seen one of my junior do this)
9. Study by teaching others ( can be quite annoying to others)
10. Study while surfing the internet ( most of the time, this person surf his mind too far until she/he forget where he/she stop reading before)
11. Study while text messaging ( can improve subconscious reading or memory)
12. Study while watching TV.
13. Study in the dark. ( Not good for the eyes)
14. Study in Public area such as library.
15. Study in Shopping Mall.
16. Study in a very cold place.
17. Study while having meals.
18. Study during lectures (study other things not related to the lecture)
19. Study and sing at the same time.
20. Study and staring to the ceiling.
21. Study and putting up make up at the same time.
22. Study in sleep ( sleeping)
There are a lot more way to study varies among each individuals. It does not matter how you study as long as you know what you are studying. I try most of the method above. Nothing work really for me except studying while listening music but sometime being in a quite place is much better for concentration.
Some of teachers and parent want their student and children to study in the same manner as them but I would say that there is no equity in that. People should be free to study in their own way.
This goes to one of my teacher in my previous boarding school that scold me because I study while listening to music while he wants me to study while listening to Koran. No offence that he is right but you should at least know that there is no God rules on that.
