1. Funny. Queen Elizabeth hospital main building was closed... I am in Papar district posting so i am not really paying attention to any new development in Kota KInabalu. But then one day the AMO in Papar hospital was saying Queen Elizabeth hospital is shutting down. Then few of our lecturers also say so. Shutting down? hahaha. How can the only referral hospital in Sabah being closed?
2. Regarding the above issues, i am feeling a little afraid on future of medicine in Sabah. Heard that they are starting to build UMS Hospital. But that is a big long term plan. maybe take at least 5 years to finish the project. I do not care about it. Why those people who knew that Queen is too old and need to be replaced wait until this situation happen.
3. How can we follow ward round nowadays if half patients in Kuala penyu, the others in Beufort. We are imagining that the ward round is done by car. Consultant car in the front, medical officer, houseman, medical student, nurses. hahah.
4. Hope to see a new hospital soon. A one stop centre hospital.
5. Papar is a nice place in sabah. After undergone 7 weeks posting here in Papar, i found out a few things:
- Papar's people are quite nice. So nice. Friendly.
- No racism in Papar, saw a chinese, they speak Brunei dialect, saw a malay, eventually he speak chinese. A nurse said to me that most of malay in Papar can speak chinese. Chinese can speak brunei dialect fluently.
- the food here is so nice. All the restaurant even though small, know how to cook. At least know how to measure the right amount of salt and sugar in their food.
- Looking for amoi? Yep, chinese girl is plenty here but suprisingly, Malay girl here is much way prettier. Malay girls here what we call awek, all are fair skin, putih2, cute2. It is true when my friend said to me that Brunei girl here is pretty. Malay girl in papar is pretty. True. hahaha.
- Papar is small. No need to drive very far to go shopping.
- Got Giant in papar, big one.
- got this Fish wantan popia which i craved everyday. Can be found in KK but cost you rm2 per piece while only rm1.4 here in papar and much more yummy then.
- I love papar. If i was posted here later when i become medical officer, i would not regret it. I think it would be nice.
- forget to mention, food here is cheaper than KK in term of quantity and taste. Malay food in KK is so bland.Bland? or blunt? haha, poor english.
7. I lost my stetoscope. I hate it. I am very lousy. All my things usually lost or destructed spontaneously. Now my badminton raket were twisted because of too much exposure to sun. I need to buy a new one but no money. Then my stetoscope lost in Hospital Bukit Padang. Schizo must have been taking it. Then i also need a new headphone. and a tendon hammer which i lost last orthopaedic posting. Then i also need a pen torch which i lost in professional exam. I am so unlucky.
8. Anyone want to donate money to me?

4 issues on me
1. I think politic in Malaysia becoming stable nowadays since PM announcing that he is going down next year. I think the opposition got nothing to gain today.
2. Oil price is decreasing, good news. I hope grocery and other stuff including food can reduce the price also.
3. Still thinking about why people hate UMS so much? Why don't people hate small small private college that teach nothing but keep getting money from student rather than trying to shut down UMS, one of the goverment university and the only university in Sabah. One blog saying that UMS is nothing but a political promise by Tun Dr.Mahathir. That is mean that if opposition wins in sabah, they will not build a university for Sabah? what a nonsense. It is not a political promise but a need to this big land.
4. I am posted in Papar district hospital nowaday and i can see that nursing student area teach more properly in performing procedure compare to us medical students. Why? I am not sure about it but we were teached more on theory, history taking, physical examination, and them, more particularly on performing the procedure. So, it is not totally our fault when we cannot and did not know how to do the procedure. That is why we are here scattered everywhere in the hospital trying to learn something. I remember the first day of my clinical years, we are left in the ward with no guidance and no nothing and we are expected to take blood, setting up IV lines, ABG, blood C&S... and more without even knowing how to do that. The way we learn is different from the nursing student so, pratically, they win over us on procedure.
5. I am getting into a relationship.
